I have started compiling Vicky & leons guest list. Now they have the names down it is so much easyer. Today I spent a couple of hours designing the invite and direction guide. I think it look quite nice ,but they still have to see it. I when back to MIlton Keynes to give Vicki her birthday present, I decided to hang around for her birthday meal on Tuesday evening rather than heading back to Camberley.
Also in the conversation I offered to organise Leon & hers wedding! Will I regret this ? We will see!
After a nursing a hangover for most of Wednesday, Thursday we had a social management night out to the ice rink to see everbodies silky ice skills. Lee faired the best (but he was a ex ice hockey player), I did not do so bad and did not fall once, on the other hand Chris our head doorman, could hardly stand on the ice and only did one lap holding on the edge all the way!
With all these nights off, (which I am just getting used to) mark and I took the Wii for 18 holes of golf. Struggling at first I soon picked it up and was getting birdies in no time.
Mark still beat me, the first 9 by 12 shots but the second only by 2. For my first Wii attempt I thought this was pretty good!
With a rare Saturday night off, I headed down to Southampton for a night off. It was Anna's birthday so everybody was out. Today , I got my new Jacket. It's Big, Red, Soft and really warm.
Just as the snow was suposed to hit today, I was perpaired. but it was never needed. I wore it home and I was so hot in the car. I am sure that this jacket will keeep me warm for ages to come.
This looks like the new sleeping atire when I sleep over in my car!
At long last it is over, every year New years day brings a relief that the silly season is over and we can now get back to normal.
Now time to relax and have a bit of holiday, with the thought in the back of our minds that with in 180 days we will be planning next year!
